Scarlet and Bows

Shirt: No Label
Jeans&Shoes: Primark

1/ This is what I wore today,  I wanted to make the shirt a bit more feminine so I took inspiration from Holly at pickle is a treat  and added a bow to the shirt. I got it from a local craft shop and only cost me 50p for a metre! It's so cheap and gives a plain shirt a bit of edge.

2/ The shoes I brought today were ony £4! down from £15 so I thought I just had to buy them! Such a bargain! They feel sturdy and are nice and thick which is always a good thing as I find my shoes always wear out really quickly cause I end up wearing them all the time! I need more variation in the shoe department I think. I also brought a white summer dress and those pastel blue sunnies from Primark (I'm sure you all know the ones)
3/ Oh and thats my fluff ball called Scarlet, because of the lovely red tinge she has on her fur, but we call her Meepy cause she meeps alot!

How do you guys spruce up a simple shirt or make a masculine shirt more feminine?

Clock and Pearl Leaf

I havent really gotten dressed properly this week, I've worn boring, comfy clothes to college and I've had Wed and today off so no outfit posts! I can never be bothered to put on makeup especially to blog, who can!?

1/ I brought a new notebook for art yesterday it's this lovely rust colour and is completely recycled which I really like, if something looks good and is recycled I'm always more drawn to it and am way more likely to buy.
The necklace I got for christmas a while ago from my sister and her boyfriend, its so sweet and simple and goes with everything, the brooch is something my other sister got me for christmas, its vintage cause she knows how much I love vintage and charity shops!

2/This is the plant that is in my room, and has been in my room since I started this blog in 2010! I did post about it in May and its been alive ever since, so its kind of my blogging plant, and its in bloom at the moment so thats always a good sign.

DVF

1/ Vintage Collection 2/3  Blooming Prints

I was browsing on Beso the other day, and all the things I seemed to be clicking on were Diane Von Furstenberg!
I went on her site and I was swooning over all the vintage and exotic prints in her spring collection.
I especially love the slouchy shapes of some of the dresses, mixed with the big prints and necklines, they are just perfect (minus the price tag), ok, they are lovely to look at. If I win the lottery this whole collection would definitely be high on the list of lovely things to buy, obviously along side giving to charity..(aheem)
I have be lusting over iphone cases, if only I HAD an iphone to dress up! :( (boo) The fifi lapin ones are just adorable! This one by DVF is going for around 36 odd quid!
Her bags and accessorises are to die for, I love this big bag in a minty pastely colour!
and these shoes, so 70's gotta love 'em!

however I have found a few 'healthy' alternatives for the
dresses: one two three four
shoes: one
bag: one two
